Stringjoy - Signatures - Electric Guitar Strings - Nickel Wound/Hex Core
Meet the new industry standard. Stringjoy Signatures Nickel Wound Electric Guitar strings are their most versatile string line, capable of meeting and exceeding the needs of players in every genre, from avante-garde jazz to thrash. The Signatures have a balanced tension response, with a slight mid-hump that helps your guitar cut through the mix. While you’ll love the sonic characteristics of the Signatures, what you’ll really love is their smooth feel, easy playability, and excellent longevity. These are strings that can hang on any stage, and excel in any session. Made in Nashville, TN, every set is crafted with nickel-plated steel wrap wire over a high-carbon hex core, giving you punchy mids, crisp highs, and a tight, controlled low end that stays focused even under heavy riffing.
Balanced Super Light Gauge (9-42) are light on your fingers, heavy on performance. They are engineered for players who want lightning-fast feel and perfectly even response across every string. This set delivers exceptional clarity, tuning stability, and a balanced playing experience that makes every bend, riff, and chord ring true.
Balanced Light Gauge (10-48) deliver essential balance in spades. Designed for players who crave even tension, precise intonation, and a smooth, responsive feel across every string, this set offers a playing experience that feels just right from top to bottom.
The Heavy Bottom Light Gauge (10-52) addresses the two tension issues that arise in typical 10-52 sets: the 2nd string is too light, and the 5th string is too heavy. Stringjoy fixes the top end by subbing in a .0135 for the typical .013, bringing perfect balance to all the plain strings. Then on bottom, the gauge of the 5th string drops to a .040 (from the typical .042) to pull everything evenly together. These two tweaks give the Heavy Bottom 10s great balance on both the plain and wound strings, with extra tension on the bottom for heavier players—or just those who are after a thicker bottom end sound.
Balanced Medium Gauge (11-50) offer a good option for players who need just a little more. 11s are the perfect middle ground—enough tension to get a nice meaty tone out of your guitar, but not so much that you can’t bend at all. Their unique slightly heavier 6th string (a .050) to balance the whole set out better gives you enough fullness on the bottom to complement the .011-.014-.018p top end. Overall, this is a powerful but very flexible set that works great for everything from post-rock to praise & worship.
