Anita - Co-owner
Anita has worked at H & H since 1981. Anita and her Husband have owned H & H since 1986. She has a BS degree in Music Therapy from Michigan State. She earned a Masters degree in Administration and worked as a music therapist for ten years before working at H & H. Anita's parents (Art and Bonnie Holm) owned H & H before they purchased the store. Anita plays piano and clarinet.
Norman - Co-owner
Norman earned a Bachelor of Music from Michigan State University. He has been with H & H since 1980. Norman is a registered member of the Piano Technicians Guild.
Becky - Musical Arts Center / Sales / Brass Repair Asst.
Becky has been working at H & H for 12 years. She attended the University of Evansville for Music Education. She is the Director of Instrumental Music at Signature School in downtown Evansville.
Becky plays trumpet in the River Brass (formerly the Bend in the River Brass Band) and in the Crossroads Christian Church Orchestra. In her spare time she enjoys cooking, gardening and travel. Some of her favorite performers are Tony Bennett, Shirley Horn, Barbara Streisand and Til Bronner.
John - Music / Pianos & Keyboards / Accessories / Instruments
John joined the staff at H & H 20 years ago. He earned a Bachelors and Masters Degree in Music Education. John has 25 years of teaching experience in Jr. High, High School and College.
John conducts his church choir and has extensive knowledge in all areas of printed sheet music. In his free time John and his wife enjoy reading and camping.
Dave - Sales / Accessories / Inventory
Dave has worked at H & H for over 17 years. He has a Bachelors in Music Therapy and Music Education from the University of Evansville. Dave played in the 8th Air Force Band for eight years.
He plays trumpet and cornet in several ensembles throughout the tristate. Dave is a member of the Evansville Symphonic Band, River Brass, Red Bank ReUnion Band and several other ensembles.
In his free time he enjoys photography, record collecting and woodworking. He also enjoys watching St. Louis Cardinals baseball.
Addisson - Educational Representative
Addison has been working at H & H since June 2016. He is a native of Madisonville, KY and a graduate of Madisonville North Hopkins. He received a bachelors degree in music from Murray State in 2014 and a masters in trumpet performance from the University of Louisville in 2016.
He has performed in numerous groups and ensembles including the Louisville Brass Band, Derby City Brass, Evansville Symphonic Band and River Brass in Evansville. Addison was a semi-finalist in the National Trumpet Competition (NTC).
He enjoys teaching trumpet and other brass instruments. He also enjoys several sports including golf, disc golf, basketball and football. He is starting a trumpet studio and encourages anyone wanting lessons to contact him at H & H (800)442-1313 for additional information.
Angie - Business Office / Inventory Control
Angie has worked at H & H since 1990 when she was a junior in high school. Originally she worked in our instrument repair department. She has held several positions including shipping and receiving, general sales and customer service for our outside events.
Angie has been in our bookkeeping office since 1995 where she takes care of our inventory processing needs and works with our accounting system. She enjoys the challenges of problem solving situations that arise in our office.
In her spare time she likes spending time with family, playing bunco and board games. Angie helps with Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts, Mt. Vernon Band and the Marrs Township Fire Dept. Ladies Auxiliary. She has two children and is excited that both of them are learning to play instruments.
Kelly - Educational Representative / Sales Manager
Kelly has been working at H & H for 28 years. He earned a degree in Music Management from the University of Evansville. Kelly started full time visiting schools in southern Indiana at the conclusion of his internship.
He enjoys the challenges of helping the tristate’s music educators maintain and improve their programs. Providing advice, instruments, repairs and anything else it takes to make music is always an adventure.
He has played trombone and euphonium in several ensembles throughout the area including the Bend in the River Brass Band, JingleBones and church ensembles. Kelly and his wife Amy have two sons that are both involved in their school band programs.
In his free time he enjoys spending time with his family, coaching youth sports and watching St. Louis Cardinals baseball.
Richard - Educator / Director / Educational Representative / Repair Technician
Dick has been working at H & H for ten years. He retired from Pike Central H.S. after teaching band for thirty-five years. Dick has been an educational representative visiting schools in southern Indiana and Illinois. He has also been working in our instrumental repair department on string instruments, percussion and doing set up work on saxophones.
Dick enjoys golf, boating with his wife Jane and spending time with their grandchildren.
